1. What ApnaPic does
ApnaPic uses artificial intelligence to combine photos of your family members into a single generated family portrait. The portraits are AI-generated images of real people. They look realistic but are not actual photographs of an event that happened.
2. Consent is required
You may only upload photos of people who have given you their permission (or whose legal guardian has, in the case of children). By uploading a photo you confirm that you have this consent. Do not upload photos of strangers, public figures, or anyone who has not agreed.
3. Acceptable use
Generated portraits are for personal, family use. You must not use ApnaPic to create misleading, defamatory, harassing, or sexual content, or content intended to impersonate or deceive. We may refuse or remove content and suspend accounts that break these rules.
4. Credits & payments
One credit creates one portrait (a regenerate also uses one credit). Credits are purchased in packs via Stripe and do not expire. Your card is charged securely by Stripe in your local currency; prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
5. Payments are final — no refunds
All credit purchases are final. Once you pay for credits, the money cannot be returned or refunded, in whole or in part.
Credits are a digital product delivered to your account instantly, so every purchase is non-refundable. Unused credits stay in your account and do not expire, but their price is never returned as money.
The only exception is technical: if a photo fails to generate, that credit is returned to your account automatically, so a failed photo never costs you anything. This is a credit added back to your balance, not a refund of money. If you believe you were charged in genuine error (for example, a duplicate charge), contact us and we'll make it right.
6. Your content
You own the photos you upload and the portraits you generate. You grant us a limited licence to process your photos solely to provide the service. See the Privacy Policy for how long we keep them (30 days for uploads).
7. No guarantees on likeness
AI portraits are usually a good likeness but are not perfect. Faces, hands or clothing may occasionally look wrong. Regenerating usually helps, and failed generations are refunded, but we cannot guarantee any particular result.
8. Analytics
We use Google Analytics, the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Microsoft Clarity to measure how the site is used and how our ads perform, so we can improve both. Details, including what is collected and how to opt out, are in the Privacy Policy.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
